Today I ordered two CDs – the five Saint-Saëns piano concertos, and the five Mozart violin concertos – from Amazon.ca. Chapters is gay.

So both my router (Linksys WRT54G v1.0 w/4.20.7 firmware) and my cable modem crapped out last week. The upshot is that, after several days of nicking Internet access from a random Wi-Fi, I now have a faster modem (5Mbps) and a newer router (v4.0), at no cost. Wheeee!

I ordered some books online today: Stephen Hawking’s A Briefer History of Time, Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment, Nietzsche’s Thus Spake Zarathustra, Orwell’s Keep the Aspidistra Flying, and Sun-tzu’s The Art of War. I’m currently reading Heart of Darkness and The Prince, although I haven’t have much time to read lately with fucking Bye Bye Birdie.

It started snowing lightly this evening around 5pm, it’s now 4am and it’s snowing quite heavily. There’s a good 15-20cm on the ground already, and I wonder what it’ll be like by sunrise. Not, of course, that I’ll be sleeping by then.
